MARDI GRAS CELEBRATION

Lake Dallas Main Street is transformed into Denton County’s only Mardi Gras Celebration on Fat Tuesday.  A Mardi Gras parade travels through downtown and the Lake Dallas City Hall parking lot features a New Orleans style party with authentic Cajun food, live music, contests and children's activities!  Attendance is approximately 2,500 people.

LAKE CITIES INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Cities of Corinth, Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas and Shady Shores come together to celebrate Independence Day at City Park in Lake Dallas. Festivities include an old-fashioned parade, children's games, contests, great food, art & craft booths and live entertainment. In 2011 the event will host the 5th annual along with headline evening entertainment topped-off with a spectacular fireworks show. Approximately 3,000 to 5,000 attend this event throughout the day.

WATERFEST AT WILLOW GROVE

WaterFest at Willow Grove Park features Jet Ski Regional Finals. The two-day event is filled with live entertainment, food vendors, exhibitors, contets and more.  Attendance is approximately 1,500 people per day.

HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION

Family-friendly games, prizes, candy, and hay rides through downtown Lake Dallas are open to trick-or-treaters on Friday, October 29th from 4 to 6 PM at Lake Dallas City Hall.  Exhibit booth space is available on the City Hall grounds for companies and organizations. Attendance is approximately 1,000 people.

HOLIDAY LIGHTING CELEBRATION

Each year at Lake Dallas City Hall, the holidays are celebrated with the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas Tree, live music, children's crafts and free pictures with Santa.  This family-friendly event also features the Main St. Stroll.  Attendees are invited to take a stroll down Main St. and enjoy treats from Main St. businesses while they decide which business or booth displays the holiday spirit the best and deserves their vote!  Attendance is approximately 1,500.
