Municipal Court
Juveniles must appear in open Court before the Judge, accompanied by a parent or guardian. A hearing date will be scheduled and a notice will be mailed to the Juveniles address on your citation. A court hearing is also required to request Driving Safety Course or Deferred Disposition. DO NOT MAIL PLEA OR PAYMENT TO THE COURT. If the juvenile fails to appear, their driver's license may be denied or suspended until they do appear in court with a parent or guardian. Pursuant to HB 2319(h): You and your parent have a legal obligation to provide the Court in writing with your current address and residence. The obligation does not end when you reach the age of 17. On or before the seventh day after the date you or your parent changes residence, you or your parent shall notify the Court of the current address by completing a “Juvenile Change of Address” form. A violation of this requirement may result in arrest and is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by fine up to $500.00. The obligation terminates only on full discharge and satisfaction of the judgment.

If you are found guilty and are not satisfied with the judgment of the court, you have the right to appeal your case. To appeal you must file an appeal bond with the Municipal Court within 10 days of the judgment.

Your due date is listed on your citation. The judge cannot discuss the merits of a pending judicial proceeding prior to actual trial (Canon 6 (c), Code of Judicial Conduct). This means that the judge is forbidden from discussing your ticket with you before trial.

Payment alternatives may be available to you. All payment alternatives must be approved by a judge. Proof of income and expenses is required. If you or your dependent(s) receive federal assistance (i.e. food stamps, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Women, Infants and Children (WIC), Medicaid, Section 8, disability), please be sure to indicate the type of assistance received on the financial affidavit and bring proof of the assistance received to court.

Visiting guests bring vehicles into the park must pay a $5 day-use fee at the kiosk payment station located at the entrance of the park. They must display their receipt on the dash of their vehicle so it is visible to the police officer on duty. Yes, campfires shall be confined to the grill or fire ring provided at each site. Fires shall not be left unattended. Fires must be completely extinguished prior to leaving a campsite unattended. (See Code of Ordinances sec. 74-75(7), sec. 74-114(a)(10))Willow Grove Park

Yes, an approved dump station is located in City Park 0.6 miles west of Willow Grove Park on Hundley Drive and is available for our campers only. Open dumping of gray or black water is strictly prohibited in the park. All waste water shall be kept in appropriate holding tanks while in the park.Willow Grove Park

Yes, all pets within the Park must be on a leash. (See Code of Ordinances sec. 74-114(a)(5) A leash to which a pets is tied within the campsite shall not allow the pet to stray beyond the boundary of the campsite or within 10 feet of a roadway. Pet waste must be collected and properly disposed of by the persons in control of the pet. (See Code of Ordinances sec. 74-75(9))Willow Grove Park

Yes. To use the boat ramp, you must purchase a boat launch pass. Boat launch passes are $10 and can be purchased at the kiosk payment station located at the entrance of the park. You must display the receipt for the boat launch on the dash of your vehicle/trailer so that is visible to park officials and police.
Annual passes for residents are available at Lake Dallas City Hall for $40. Annual passes run January through December, not from the date of purchase.
Only residents of Lake Dallas are eligible for an annual boat launch pass.To get your Parking Pass or Boat Launch Pass, fill out your Willow Grove Park Pass application online HERE or by visiting City Hall on Mondays from 11 AM - 1 PM or Wednesdays from 1 PM to 5 PM. Passes must be picked up from City Hall, whether applied for in-person or online, from City Hall during the above open hours.
