  1. Seed Starting Workshop

    December 7, 2019, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Lake Dallas Public Library

Join Sue Newhouse, a Denton County 2007 Master Gardener, at your Lake Dallas Public Library to learn how you can start your own seeds indoors so you can be ready to plant when Spring comes! Sue and her husband have a small farm on the edge of Denton County where they grow some berries, peaches and commercially cut flowers as well as keeping bees. To make growing more affordable, she starts most of her seeds indoors and transitions them to the greenhouse in late fall through winter. Learn from the expert at this free event at your Lake Dallas Public Library.
