Animal Services

The mission of the Lake Dallas Animal Services Department is to promote positive animal health, assist with responsible pet ownership, prevent the spread of animal borne diseases and protect the public from nuisance animals. Officers and volunteers always work with the animals' best interests in mind. We provide temporary shelter and strive to locate suitable homes for all healthy, adoptable animals. Officers also enforce State and local ordinances relating to animals located within the City of Lake Dallas.

Animal Shelter Angel Tree

At the Lake Dallas Animal Shelter, we are trying to make the holidays a little brighter for our furry friends. In order to do this, we need your help. By taking a tag from our Animal Shelter Angel Tree, purchasing the noted goodies and dropping them off at the shelter, you can give these pets the comforts of a home they don’t yet have. For more information or to donate, please contact Officer Chelsea Stachyra at cstachyra@lakedallaspd.org.

Angel Trees are located at:

  • Lake Dallas Animal Shelter
  • Lake Dallas City Hall
  • Corinth Vet Clinic

All locations are collecting donations as well. A HUGE Thank You to all who decide to participate!
