Beginner French Class

This beginner French class is best suited for Teens and Adults. It is a proper course that meets three times a week, complete with a textbook and homework. There are no tests or scores; how much you get out of the classes depends on how much you put in. The textbooks and all materials are provided by the library.

This class is completely free. This class is supplemented by French Conversation on Saturdays at 3pm. French Conversation is open to everyone, whether they attend the class or not.
Textbook: Must Know High School Basic French by Annie Heminway. Copies of this book will be available for checkout for the duration of the class. You may request a textbook for checkout in advance of the class.
Materials: If you miss a class or are unable to attend the live class, lesson materials can be found here. Click on the folder for the current week and then click on the folder for the current lesson. If you have trouble, the materials can also be sent via email.
