Fugitive Apprehension and Tactical Enforcement (FATE) Unit

The Fugitive Apprehension and Tactical Enforcement (FATE) Unit consists of four Officers, one Corporal, and a Lieutenant. Members of the FATE Unit are responsible for the serving of all felony/misdemeanor arrest warrants and search warrants originating from within the Lake Dallas Police Department. They also respond to teletypes and requests from other law enforcement agencies requiring the service of arrest warrants. Members of the FATE Unit go through extensive specialized training to better serve the citizens of Lake Dallas.
